M42 German Stick Grenade - Dummy Replica

Stock Status: Out of Stock

The Model 43 grenade was introduced in 1943, based on the previous Model 24 but with improvements made to the safety and reliable operation of the weapon. The Stielhandgranate was the standard hand grenade of the German Army from the end of World War I until the end of World War II. The very distinctive appearance led to its being called a 'Kartoffelstampfer', "stick grenade", or a "potato masher" in British Army slang, and is today one of the most easily recognized infantry weapons of the 20th century.

This is a M42 German stick grenade replica, based on the type used in WWII. It is made of machined wood, with a metal wing nut and wooden knob. It is painted green and black with a metallic effect, has an aged battle worn appearance, handle features real wood gain with a semi-shine finish.
It is a completely non-functioning dummy grenade, it does not contain working parts, and does not dismantle. May differ slightly in appearance to ones shown depending on stock.
