History:
The belt is standard piece of equipment for military personnel, for use in the field and for ceremonial purposes. The EM (Enlisted Man) belt was designed to carry the soldiers equipment. The standard belt was made out of leather, the belt buckle was made from aluminium, but by mid war this was changed to steel, and leather tabs were removed. Starting in late 1934 the Allgemeine-SS, (General-SS) items were quality control manufactured by RZM, and were marked with the RZM/SS approval mark. By 1943 the Waffen-SS assumed full control over the manufacture of SS related item production from the RZM.

Details:
This is a German SS belt, a reproduction based on the version used in World War 2. The belt is made of leather, standard firmness, painted black on both sides with a shiny finish, and has white stitching. The catch clip is made of steel. The belt is size adjustable with 6 sets of holes, comes with a clip joined leather fastener loop, and suits light to medium equipment weight loads.

Uses:
Suitable for parade or regular impression, as a prop for films and TV, or as part of a militaria collection as a display item. Not recommended for hardcore re-enacting.

These belts are designed primarily to be wore atop the uniform/tunic, be sure to measure your waist size when wearing the top half of your uniform/tunic to determine the size you require. The belt requires a suitable buckle to be worn correctly that is not included, and sold separately.
