MP40 MP38 Magazine Pouch Pair - Green

Stock Status: In Stock

The MP 40 was a submachine gun developed in Nazi Germany and used extensively by the Axis powers during World War II. The Maschinenpistole 40 ("Machine pistol 40") descended from its predecessor the MP 38, which was in turn based on the MP 36, a prototype made of machined steel. The pouches were used by soldiers to carry magazines for quick access during battle.

This is a MP40 magazine pouch set, a reproduction based on the version used in World War 2. It is quality made of canvas, stiff leather fasteners, metal fittings, and white stitching. It is designed with 6x pouches and 1x pocket, in 2 sections, and can hold 6x Magazines, as well as loader and brush. Pouches can be worn with Y-Straps, and belts up to 6.5cm wide.

Note: Pouches are not a perfect match, the leather style differs, one is black and brown, the other is all black. These are new from old stock, may have minor signs of wear, and a slight surplus storage odour.

Use during re-enactments, fancy dress, as a prop for films and TV, fancy dress, or add to your militaria collection as a great display item.
