Grenade Pouches were issued to Soviet forces throughout the Second World War and during the post war period. Their main purpose was to give solders the ability to carry several grenades at a time securely. The Soviet F1 hand grenade, is an anti-personnel fragmentation defensive grenade. The Soviet RG-42 was a fragmentation grenade originally introduced during World War II as an emergency measure, continuing in use with the USSR and its Warsaw Pact allies in the post-war period.

This is a F1 RG-42 3 Cell Grenade Pouch, a post war original. It is made of canvas, with leather strap, metal buckle fastener, and cell dividers. It is in used condition, it has rust on the buckle and parts or the bag, cracked leather strap, and a faded makers stamp. Item may vary slightly to images, depending on stock, sold as is.

The pouch is designed with 3x pockets to hold up to 3x F1 or RG-42 grenades, and it has a wide back piece so it will fit on almost any military equipment belt. It is full size, wearable, and makes a great addition to a uniform set.

Suitable for display dress up purposes or regular impression, as a prop for films and TV, or add to your militaria collection as a display item. Not recommended for hardcore re-enacting.
