History:
The M1923 cartridge belt was used by infantry of the US Army, used widely during WWII. The belt was carryied by Rifleman and worn around the waist but could also be slung around the torso, it gave the wearer even weight dispersal for ease of carrying and allowed for quick access to clips for reloading. The M1 Garand or M1 Rifle, is a .30 Caliber semi-automatic rifle chambered for the .30-06 Springfield rifle cartridge.

Details:
This is a M-1923 cartridge belt with ammo pouches, a reproduction based on the version used in World War 2. It is quality made of 100% cotton canvas webbing construction, with a metal buckle, dot fasteners, as well as eyelets to allow for attaching additional equipment, suspenders or haversack straps. Detailed with LY&MFY CO. 1943 marked on the back and U.S. on the front. Designed with 10x pockets, in 2 sections of 5, and can hold 8x M1 block charger clips, or 20x 5 Springfield round stripper clips. It's multiple pockets may also be useful to carry other clips like the M1903 and M14 or other field items. Size is adjustable up to 48", belt is removable from pouch sections if so desired.
