History:
1937 Pattern Web Equipment (also known as '37 Webbing') was an item of military load-carrying equipment. It replaced the 1908 Pattern and 1925 Pattern and was standard issue for British and Commonwealth troops from its introduction in 1937, throughout World War II, and in the post-war period. 1937 Pattern Webbing was made from cotton webbing, which was waterproofed and dyed before being woven. The fittings were made of stamped brass and it was produced by various manufacturers.

Details:
This is an original P37 pattern L strap. Quality made of heavy duty tan cotton webbing with stamped brass fittings. The strap features a quick release fastener for attaching to a pouch on the right hand side. Original surplus in used condition, retains some washed out green colouring.

Uses:
Use during re-enactments, fancy dress, as a prop for films and TV, fancy dress, or add to your militaria collection as a great display item.
