Deaths Head - Totenkopf Skull Belt Buckle

The Totenkopf or Death's Heads is a skull and cross-bones symbol, and has been used throughout history, often are used as a warning of danger. It is said to signify triumph over the fear of death, and was used by several different groups and military units throughout the world. German Death's-head Hussars, wore a black uniform and a Death's-head insignia on their head gear, Bavarian troopers called the Invincibles, road black horses, wore black clothing and black helmets a white death's head. The English 17th Lancers wore a skull badge on their head-dress and their collar with the words "or glory" below. To them it meant Death or Glory of the wearer, and urged them be to be brave and rush to glory, or to the grave. The Death's Head was used as the unit insignia of the Panzer forces of the German Heer (Army) during the Second World War era, and also by the Panzer units of the Luftwaffe, including those of the elite Fallschirm-Panzerdivision

This is a Deaths Head belt buckle, it is quality made, nicely detailed. It is a regular buckle, standard size and will fit any belt 1.5 inch or smaller.
