M35 German Helmet - Steel Replica - Grey

Stock Status: Out of Stock

The M35 Stahlhelm "steel helmet" was a German helmet designed in 1934 for the military to be an improved replacement based on the World War I models. The M35 was pressed from sheets of steel in several stages. The ventilator holes were set in smaller hollow rivets mounted to the helmet's shell, the edges were rolled over, creating a smooth edge along the helmet. A completely new leather suspension liner was incorporated that greatly improved the helmet's safety, adjustability, and comfort.

This is a M35 helmet, a replica based on the version used in World War 2. This reproduction comes complete with liner and all the correct fittings. The shell is made of heavy gauge steel, with rolled edges, and painted grey with a textured finish. The liner band is made of metal, is secured with split pins marked MSS44, and has chinstrap attachment loops. The inside liner and chinstrap are made of oxhide leather. It features a suspension system with a leather adjustment cord. The chinstrap is coated black on the outside, has machined holes with an aluminium buckle for adjustment, and has two steel fasteners for attachment/detachment of the chinstrap.

These helmets have a worn appearance, with some minor imperfections.

Use during war games, airsoft/paintball, re-enactments, films, fancy dress/cosplay, or add to your militaria collection as a great display item.
