History:
The belt is standard piece of equipment for military personnel, for use in the field and for ceremonial purposes. The EM (Enlisted Man) belt was designed to carry the soldiers equipment. The standard belt was made out of leather, the belt buckle was made from aluminium, but by mid war this was changed to steel, and leather tabs were removed. Meine Ehre Heißt Treue (My Honour Is Loyalty) was a phrase associated with the SS branch of the Third Reich until the end of the War.

Details:
This is a German Waffen SS EM belt buckle, an economic variant reproduction based on the version used in World War 2. Made of steel, in silver tone semi-shine finish, it has two fastener prongs on the back and a metal catch for fastening to a belt. The front is detailed with "Meine Ehre Heißt Treue".

Note:
These buckles are discounted as they are lower grade than other buckles we offer, they have signs of wear, and although have been coated with a rust proofing still have signs of rust on the back.
Item appearance may differ to ones pictured depending on stock.

Uses:
Suitable for costume/cosplay or as a TV/Film prop. Not recommended for hardcore re-enactors or serious collectors.
