[Eintritt-Sign]

Stock Status: In Stock

History:
Entrance Forbidden (German: Eintritt Verboten), were placed in certain areas to restrict entry to prohibited areas or keep out people out entirely. Warning signs like theses were placed in and around areas like HQs, bunkers, enemy territory or other potentially dangerous areas. During wartime, the use of signs was very common and was generally used to inform, both civilians and military personnel alike, sometimes in both in the friendly and the enemy languages. Some deceptive tactics could be employed, this was achieved with using phony signs placing, or simply moving or removing official signs in order to confuse the enemy, and impeded their progress.

Details:
This is an Eintritt Verboten sign replica, based on the World War 2 era. It is a high quality reproduction, made of cast iron, solid metal weighing 2kgs, it is three dimensional, with close attention to detail, red painted lettering, and a RZM manufacturer stamp on the back. The metal and paintwork have been fashioned to give it an aged look, and it has been treated for rust resistance and use outdoors, built to last. It has four drilled corner holes for ease of fixing or hanging up on walls or other surfaces.
