Stock Status: In Stock

An ammunition belt is a device used to retain and feed cartridges into a firearm. The M16.223 is the ammunition for the United States Military AR-15 rifle. The M16 fires the 5.56x45mm 223. caliber cartridge. The M16 entered United States Army service and was deployed for jungle warfare operations in South Vietnam in 1963, becoming the U.S. Military's standard service rifle of the Vietnam War by 1969, replacing the M14 rifle in that role. The U.S. Army retained the M14 in CONUS, Europe, and South Korea until 1970. Since the Vietnam War, the M16 rifle family has been the primary service rifle of the U.S. Military.

This is a strip of 7x M16.223 bullets, inert ammunition held together with X-links. These are used, in good condition, made of metal, nickel shells with tips, from the USA.

You can add up to 3.3 more inches to a M16.223 bullet belt to extend the length. The bullets are held together by X-links, and each bullet and X-link can be easily removed or added together to give you 7x loose bullets and X-links, or a linked strip of 1-7 depending on your needs.
